Let yourself be nurtured with delicious home cooked food, an immersive sound experience, gentle movement practices of yoga and qigong and time to connect with yourself and other beautiful souls.
What better place to see the snowdrops and daffodils of early spring than in the serene and beautiful Parcevall Retreat Centre and Gardens.
Parcevall Hall and Gardens
Nestled in a tranquil valley and surrounded by Dales, Moors and Crags, Parcevall Hall is the perfect place to get away from the pressures of daily life and immerse in the natural world. The Hall itself was built on land which belonged to Bolton Priory, and is Grade II* Listed, its oldest part dating back to 1586. There is an immediate sense of peace from the moment you arrive, giving an opportunity to let go of anything you’ve been carrying and simply be.
The Hall has a number of beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces to explore. Yoga and Qigong classes will take place in the cozy Milner Room and morning coffees and afternoons teas will be served in the Solar Lounge, a welcoming and comfortable room which leads to an outdoor terrace. During the retreat there will also be time to explore the terrace, the rock gardens and serene outdoor spaces that overlook Simon’s Seat. During free time on Saturday afternoon, you will have the opportunity to climb to the top for breathtaking views across the Dales, or choose to curl up with a book in the chapel or try out one of the 100-year old enamel baths!
Accommodation
The Hall consists of 17 charming and simple bedrooms, each with a comfortable bed, sink and wardrobe. There are private toilets, shower rooms and bathrooms on each corridor and a small number of bedrooms have ensuite facilities. These are generally reserved for guests who have access requirements, so please let us know if you require one of these when booking.
All rooms are offered on an individual basis unless you specify otherwise, so you will have your own private space.
